Congratulations to chemistry major, Barbara Cheyenne Higgs! Cheyenne participated in an NSF-Funded (Award # 2345025) REU program at the University of Alabama. As part of the program, Cheyenne will present research at the TECHCON 2025 conference in September. TECHCON is a major semiconductor research conference that allows students to meet professionals and researchers in industry and in academia. Cheyenne received a SEARCH Award in 2024 and will publish research findings with their faculty mentor, Dr. Jared Pienkos. Congrats Cheyenne, and Dr. Pienkos, thank you for all you do to support student success at UTC.
